The Tandoor, a traditional charcoal clay oven of intense dry heat that is used across the Indian sub-continent which gives the food a crisp outer layer without comprising the moistness and the flavours of the dish,The word tikka (TK) on our menu means boneless pieces of chicken/lamb which is marinated in yoghurt, herbs and spices (ginger, garlic, fresh coriander, etc.) cooked over charcoal before cooking into a Masala,Jalfrize,etc. Its highly recommended by the chef and tastes much better then the normal meat,try it out.

 

If you live near us or few miles away for example in Jesmond, Kenton, Kingston Park we recommend the mouthwatering Tikka dishes.

   Excellent. ive even had a tour of the kitchen, and witnessed the magic for myself. you can trust that these guys really look after their food. the head chef even tastes each dish before it is allowed to be packed and able to leave his kitchen, and i can personally guarantee that every meal is made to order.
